

The last Rough Cuts took place on 11th February 2009; there are no further dates scheduled at present for Rough Cuts Glasgow or London.
The Comedy Unit run a night called Rough Cuts on the last Monday of the month at Lowdown At The Albany in Central London and various monthly shows in Glasgow at The Stand. The idea behind the nights is to allow emerging talent to be seen and to enable us to develop formats, sitcoms, and sketches by testing them out in front of a live audience. It’s a great way for us to find new comedy writing talent and that’s why we need you.
We’re always looking for sketches for the first section of the show that can be read through by the Rough Cuts players. There’s no constraint on topic or on style but there are a few things that you should bear in mind before submitting your sketch.
